Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Music Theory Bootcamp at musictheorybootcamp.com (the "Service"), operated by Nurik, LLC ("we" or "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

The Service

The Service is an online music theory course: 30 daily lessons with interactive tools and a test at the end of each day, plus free chord tools that anyone can use without an account. It is educational material. It is not a certification, a qualification, or a guarantee of any particular musical outcome.

Accounts

• You must give accurate information when you sign up and keep it current.
• You are responsible for keeping your password secret and for everything that happens under your account.
• Accounts are for one person. Do not share your login or let others use your access.
• Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission.

Access and Payment

The Service is currently in beta testing. Enrolment is free, we do not collect a card, and there is nothing to cancel. Free enrollment grants access for 30 days from the day you enroll, which is intended to be long enough to finish the entire course.

When that period ends, your progress is kept and you can contact us about continuing. We may change or end the beta at any time. If we later charge for the Service, the intended price is $30 as a one time payment for lifetime access, and we will never charge you without you agreeing to it first.

"Lifetime" means for as long as we operate the Service. If we ever have to shut it down, we will give reasonable notice.

Refunds

Nothing is being charged during beta testing, so there is nothing to refund. Once paid enrollment opens, refund terms will be published here before any payment is taken.

Our Content

The lessons, quizzes, text, graphics, logos, audio, and software that make up the Service are owned by Nurik, LLC or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. Your access is a personal, non transferable license to use the material for your own learning.

You may not:

• Copy, republish, resell, or redistribute the lessons or quizzes
• Record, screenshot, or scrape the course for distribution
• Use the material to build or train a competing course or product
• Remove or obscure any notice of ownership

Practicing the music you learn is, of course, entirely yours. Nothing here restricts what you play or write.

Reviews You Submit

If you leave a review, you keep ownership of what you wrote. When you tick the box giving permission to publish it, you grant us a license to display it, with your first name, in marketing for the Service. You can withdraw that permission at any time by emailing us.

Acceptable Use

Use the Service lawfully. Do not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of it, interfere with its operation, overload its servers, or probe its security. Do not use support tickets to send abusive or illegal content.

Availability

We aim to keep the Service running, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error free. We may change, suspend, or discontinue parts of it, and we perform maintenance from time to time.

Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nurik, LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us for it in the 12 months before the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Nurik, LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or your breach of these Terms.

Termination

You may stop using the Service and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are breached, including sharing an account or redistributing the course material.

Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms. The current version will always be posted on this page with the date it was last updated. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Louisiana, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Lafayette Parish, Louisiana.
